“Many are called, but few are chosen.” - Matthew 22:14

This is a conversation the Church desperately needs to have.

#SoundSunday

God revealed to me a long time ago that Pastors need life coaching. That’s why I founded N.L.C – Niina Life Coaching Group.

Over the years, I’ve walked among great ministers in the UK. Some laughed at me—because I had no title, they assumed I wasn’t qualified. But today, many of those same ministers have disappeared, gone silent, or are quietly battling depression.

Why? Because some were called by men, not by God. Others ran ahead of God’s timing, pressured by the need to be seen and celebrated. If I wasn’t grounded in God back then, I too could’ve fallen—like many young women who were taken advantage of by immature ministers.

Let’s be real: some people think grace gives them permission to follow their feelings. No. Grace empowers you to live differently. What many call "depression" today is often the result of choices made in secret—thinking no one saw. But God did. You can lie to a crowd, but not to the One who sees in secret.

Repentance is not a dirty word. It’s the gateway to healing. Depression often comes from guilt, buried pain, or unresolved wrongdoing. Repent, forgive yourself, and start again. God finishes what He starts.

I’m Niina Nia Kabesa, accredited Life Coach of over 20 years, coaching individuals in faith—including pastors and leaders. Many ministers who gave their youth to serve God were misused by mentors who manipulated them into thinking only pastors could hear from God. That’s spiritual abuse.

Yes, God may place a calling on your life—but you cannot serve God while still feeding your fleshly desires. That’s not what grace is for. So when pastors reach their 40s or 50s and isolate themselves, it’s often because they believed walking with Christ meant bypassing life’s challenges.

To every believer: we are not exempt from life challenges, but through God in Christ, the pain doesn't break us the same. We may face storms—but we’ve already won. That’s why I don’t live in fear of people’s opinions. I ask myself: “What problem am I called to solve now?”

May God protect us—mentally, emotionally, and physically—in Jesus’ name.

I've always been transparent about my journey with God to show that walking in the Spirit is not perfection —it’s progressive. We are flesh and blood, learning to live beyond the flesh.

To those who now appreciate my openness, I say thank you. God removed fear from me long ago, and I live for His glory. I’ve learned that life brings Destiny Helpers and Destiny Destroyers—but wisdom teaches us the difference.

So yes, we must repent first, then seek Christian therapists or coaches. You don’t have to choose me, but if you do, your ministry will experience a new beginning.

God bless you.
